Bringing Architecture to Light
We are the first creative independent lighting design studio in Bucharest. Glow Design studio’s vision is to bring life through lighting to places in which we live, learn, work and play.
Whether working in collaboration with interior designers and architects or directly with our clients, we create imaginative, inspiring designs. We specialise in providing interior & exterior architectural lighting design schemes for hospitality, residential, commercial and retail projects.
Ruxandra Miftodi is Glow’s founder. After a 10 year experience in London where she studied and worked as a lighting designer, she combines creativity and technical expertise to provide custom lighting design for each project.

What Can We Help You With?
Concept Design
An initial lighting strategy is developed with key principles while exploring ideas via a range of design methods & tools. Initial lighting mockups can be used to explain how lighting will be integrated within the design.
Detailed Technical Design
We create a comprehensive package comprising lighting layouts, calculations, and technical specifications for the proposed luminaires. For specific projects, we also provide procurement process management services as needed.
Construction
We collaborate with the on-site team to ensure complete comprehension and successful execution of our design intent. We also coordinate with suppliers to manage procurement and prevent delays.

Send us your brief
Send us your project information and will send you a fee proposal. We recommend early project engagement with client and design team.

Discuss with us
Once our fee proposal is accepted, we will have an initial conversation / site visit to establish the key principles.
3.
Give initial feedback
Following our initial lighting strategy report, we would love to have your feedback to see which path to follow for the next stage.
4.
Detailed design
Working in close collaboration with the design team we ensure that lighting features and schemes are detailed and executed to the highest standards.
5.
Commissioning your project
During commissioning we make the final adjustments while focusing the lights to create the perfect effect within the space.
